Boy, Meet World.

When I have kids, they will NEVER be sheltered. That is the biggest mistake parents make, is sheltering their kids.

Am I prideful of belonging to a large city? Nope. No way. But I am THANKFUL, and I'm glad that I went to a large school. I'm glad I got to witness the effects of being wrapped in the world, without having to be completely subject to it.

I've had my moments, I've had my times where I gave into temptation, but thankfully I realize when I was wrong and I have not just tried to pretend it was ok, and I've changed.

What irks me is when somebody - namely, a Christian - either tries to justify their actions, or completely denies that what they're doing is wrong in the eyes of God. I may not know that persons heart, but I refuse to believe that the God I've been stretching myself so thin to serve would put harsh restrictions on MY life, yet let another person completely break and ignore every fundamental rule, and STILL be allowed into heaven.

Whoa... don't get me wrong... I'm not saying that I wish that person wouldn't be allowed into heaven, I'm saying that I know they won't, and it REALLY bothers me, I want them to be there, but they just don't realize that they're wrong!

Whether or not they've realized it... Satan has a stronghold in their life. Things may be going really well, it may seem as if the Lord is blessing them... but just as easily as something could simply be a blessing, it could ALSO be a TEST, in which case, this person is failing, and there's nothing I can do to help, and that makes it even worse.

You think where you're at right now is God's gift to you, yet at the very same time you're praising the Lord for what he's given you, you're disreguarding the Bible and everything in it as if it never existed. You've made your OWN rules for life as a Christian, and that's called BLASPHEMY.

Christians do not get drunk. Christians do not do drugs. Christians do not have sex before marriage. The Bible speaks against these things. To continute to partake in these activities is to go against the Bible.

So you've screwed up... that's OK! You can still be saved! Hope is not lost...

No... Hope is lost when you don't even think that you're doing anything wrong. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, is it not? Whether you're in denial or you can't seem to grasp the concept that as a Christian, you're not to indulge in self-fufilling activities... I don't know.

But know this... you can go to church and pray to God all you want, but there's something called a "false sense of security", which means that as close as you feel to God, it could very well be that Satan has only tricked you into feeling that way, and you're right where he wants you.
