Demolition Derby
So today I finally bought my first demolition derby car. I stopped by the shop that I went to school at and gave my old instructor the cash for one of his 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88's he had sitting in there.
I only had about a half an hour to work on it, so all I could manage to get done was removing the grill and head light assembly.
Sara wants to learn a bit about cars, so I invited her to come along with me sometime to the shop, most likely it'll be when I install the engine. You need at least two people to do it anyway.
I also picked up the tail gate I bought for Jessica's truck. A while back, her truck rolled backwards into a ditch and wrecked the bumper and tail gate. I painted her new bumper for her and found a cheap tail gate in the junk yard one day and bought it for her. I took it into the body shop at school to have them paint it because I don't have time, but it's been 3 weeks and nothing has been done to it, so I took it back and I'm going to finish it myself.
So Monday and Tuesday at work, I'm runnin the show. My boss is going hunting those days so I get to hold down the fort in Express. Fun stuff...
And, yet again, it's a Friday night and I'm sitting here in front of my computer. I REALLY need a girlfriend...
