What a day...
Well, it started off pretty typical. Another lifeless music worship at the beginning of teen service, and another good lesson from Pastor Mitch that no one payed attention to... I feel so bad for the guy, he tries so hard... Then after church, sitting around and aruging about where to go for lunch.
I was kind of looking forward to hangin out with Jess today, since we've put all of our issues aside, we've been becoming pretty good friends and I think that's awesome, she's such a cool person all around and it's so much fun to be around her, she's like a breath of fresh air when you get tired of the typical stuff from the rest of your friends. But she had a trail ride, so she couldn't hang out today.
It was just me, Sara, Aaron, and Travis. We decided to go into Lansing and eat at a place called Frankenburger, it's a diner type place near where I work and apparently the food is awesome. We got there and found out that they only serve breakfast on Sundays, so we headed towards the Lansing Mall.
I was riding in Sara's car with her, and Travis and Aaron were in Travis' truck following us. We were stopped at a light behind someone else, and when it turned green, that person moved up and waited to turn left, Sara inched forward, then BAM, Travis slammed into the back of us. I guess he turned his head for one second and didn't notice we had stopped again... accidents happen, Sara wasn't mad at him and I don't think he should feel SO bad cause it was just an accident... but either way... His truck was pretty janked up, Sara's car made it out pretty good, can't even tell it was hit unless you look close. My neck is really sore...
So we went back to Travis'... He eventually calmed down, then we took Sara's car to Steak and Shake for some food. Stopped by my house and got my shot gun and some shells to do some target shooting, went back to Travis' and shot a bit... nice way to ease the stress. (no we're not high school terrorists, we're hunters so chill) I let Sara shoot my gun once, she shot a little below the target but not bad for her first time, I give her props for not being afraid to try it. 12 gauges are big guns.
We tried to finish fixing Aaron's car, but I have no idea what is wrong now... We fixed the heater core and now the diaphragm for his defrosters won't open... stupid cars... GAHH... anyway...
I have this theory that if someone seems just too perfect for you, most likely it wouldn't work out... relationships need spark, and spark comes from two different people who DO have things in common, but aren't basically the same person. "Opposites attract".. No one else seems to agree with me...
I'm also pretty close to bitching Miles out completely. He has these mood swings and gets really immature about the stupidest little things... it annoys the HELL out of me and I'm sure that next time he whines and complains and gets all pissy about something I'm going to give him a piece of my mind that will be hard for him to swallow.
I really need to meet a girl. I'm tired of all my friends finding the love of their life or just being so happy... cause when that happens, they no longer need me around to be a friend, they are "complete"... I hate it, it happens every time one of them gets a girlfriend or a boyfriend. I can't even think of one of them who hasn't done that, or wouldn't if they found someone...
