Well I've pretty much completely made up my mind...

Sometime after Christmas 2005, I'm going to join the Michigan National Guard.

It'll be a great way to ensure a positive future for me... and it's been a nagging thought for a couple years now. I've finally decided that I'm going to do it.

9 weeks Basic Training... AIT... and after that, a couple weekends a year, 2 weeks of summer duty, and that's it for life. I'm free to do whatever with my life, and I'll be eligible for employment just about anywhere.
